How do I get started with your services?New clients should start by contacting us through our website, by phone or by visiting one of our locations. After the initial inquiry, you will need to create an account in our Gingr customer portal, where you can upload your dog’s information, vaccination records and service preferences. We also require your dog's current town licence number and expiration date to comply with local regulations.

Do you require vaccinations for services?Yes. All dogs participating in our boarding, training, hikes or grooming services must have up-to-date rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Titers are accepted in place of standard vaccinations.

What is included in your boarding services?Our boarding experience is enrichment-based, not just kennel time. Dogs receive structured exercise, mental stimulation and supervised play. Individualized care plans are available based on your dog’s needs.

What kinds of board-and-train programs do you offer?We offer three structured board-and-train programs: 3-week board-and-train: foundational obedience and structure, leash manners and confidence-building 6-week board-and-train: advanced training, off-leash recall, behavior modification and e-collar training 1-week refresher board-and-train: for dogs who have previously completed training with us and need reinforcement

What is considered peak season?Peak rates apply during high-demand periods: Presidents' Day and school break Easter and Spring Break Memorial Day weekend Labor Day weekend Columbus Day weekend Thanksgiving week Christmas and New Year’s break (contact for specific dates) Different holidays have varying rates based on demand and operational costs: Major travel holidays ($90 per night): Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Spring Break and summer peak. Short holiday weekends ($85 per night): Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day Single-day holiday surcharge (+$10 per night): Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Thanksgiving

Does my dog need training before they can join the off-leash hikes?Yes. To participate in off-leash hikes, dogs must possess reliable recall and be assessed for pack compatibility. If your dog is not off-leash-trained, we offer training programs to prepare them.

What training methods do you use?We believe in balanced training, using clear communication, structure, and fair corrections when necessary. Our goal is to help dogs achieve off-leash reliability and good manners in real-world environments. E-collar training is an option for advanced off-leash work.

What grooming products do you use?We use Iv San Bernard, a high-quality Italian grooming line known for its skin and coat benefits. All grooming services focus on a low-stress experience.

Can I buy raw food from your store without a nutrition consultation?Yes! We carry a variety of raw food brands, supplements and whole-food toppers for purchase. However, if you are new to raw feeding or want a personalized diet plan, we recommend booking a nutrition consultation with Cody O’Kelly for $85.

Is your raw food more affordable than other online services?Yes. Our monthly raw food subscription is 10-15% cheaper than major services like WeFeedRaw, and we tailor each diet to your dog’s specific needs.

What is your cancellation policy?Deposit Requirements: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your pet's stay. Deposits must be paid within 48 hours of booking, or the reservation will be forfeited. 14+ days before check-in: Full credit towards a future stay (valid for 12 months) minus a $50 rebooking fee. No cash refunds. 7-13 days before check-in: 50% of deposit credited towards a future stay (valid for 6 months). No cash refunds. Less than 7 days before check-in: No refunds or credits (full deposit forfeited). Early departures: Charged for the entire reserved stay (no refunds or credits for unused nights). Rescheduling: Clients may request to reschedule their stay once without penalty if done at least 14 days before check-in. No-Show Policy: If a client does not check in on the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is considered a no-show, and no refunds or credits will be issued. Why do you require resident town dog licence numbers and expiration dates?We follow local regulations, which require all dogs to have a valid resident town licence. This ensures compliance with state and municipal laws and helps keep our canine community safe. Clients must provide this information when setting up their Gingr customer portal account.
